PRACTICAL INFORMATION

HORSES AND SADDLING: All horses are equipped with saddles. Personal equipment is recommended - boots, cap, sleeping bag and warm clothes. Most of the horses belong to the local East-Bulgarian breed with a mid-height of 150 cm, they are well known as thoughtful and tough, and are thus extremely well-adapted to the mountainous region of Wild Bulgaria.

Accommodation is a choice of 6 options (dependant on availability and budget) this means that we have the perfect place available for your needs, to come back to after an enjoyable day Horse-riding.

The horse riding trip price includes:

  • Equipped horse –saddle, stirrups etc.
  • Transfers to/from Accommodation to Burgas Airport.
  • Qualified instructors – English speaking guide.
  • Luggage transportation from point to point.

Start: Topolovgrad, 08.00 hours

Finish: Topolovgrad, 16.00 hours

Lunchtime barbeque at a secluded spot in the forest or a pre-arranged restaurant (drinks/snacks not provided) Guided horse-riding led by our experienced local horse-riding guide.

On this relaxing family holiday, combine lovely long horse-riding through ancient forested hills and over picturesque pastures on our beautiful horses. You will be given a thorough briefing on these sturdy strong horses and how to ride them, you will have plenty of time to get to know your horse before you set off. Before galloping off, your horse-riding instructor will ensure that rider and horse understand each other and are working well together. The landscape in the area is hilly and you will see very few humans, but lots of wildlife! You will pass places with splendid views, secluded forest lakes and lively forest streams. The region has a wealth of traditional architecture and folklore: en route we visit remote villages, old churches, dolmens, karst areas with deep river gorges, large caves and thracian ruins.
